OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to give members of the
community an opportunity to learn and/or
further develop skills in acting, directing,
design and technical theatre and to produce
and present varied theatrical
entertainment.

Wichita Community Theatre is an
organization of volunteers.  Our common
thread is a desire to work on a fun,
worthwhile project with other interesting
people.  If you enjoy the excitement that
surrounds live theatre, we have a home for
you at WCT.

WCT needs all types of talented people to
make a production happen.  We need actors,
of course, but we can also use all sorts of
people with different talents behind the
scenes.

Do you enjoy building or creating things or do
you just love to paint? We'd love to have you!

Or you can put your sewing skills to use for
us. Costumes are created, altered and often
repaired for each one of our productions.

If you would like to learn how to light a set or
design sound and music for a show or help
with makeup and hair styling, we would love
to have you join our family.

Volunteers are important for every
organization, but they are crucial at WCT.
