Wichita Community Theatre

Wichita Community Theatre is tremendously grateful to the wonderful support our community has given us over the past six decades. Because of you, WCT has continued to thrive in bringing you the quality dramas, comedies and musicals that you love. As an all volunteer organization, we rely on the contributions of our theatrical family, but we can always use more. If you would like to join that family, please consider making a donation.

We occasionally ask our patrons to contribute just a little more than the price of a ticket. If every paying patron of ours contributed an extra $5, the extra $15,000 we would generate would enable us to do major needed renovations to our well-aged building. We would be able to complete our ADA-compliance with new restrooms. We could replace our sound system with a state-of-the-art sound board, and our lighting system with modernized equipment. We could replace our fire-retardant mainstage curtain and purchase new seating. And that is if each one of you only contributes an extra $5. Imagine bigger! What if we had rehearsal space separate from our main stage? What if we built a smaller theatre in which we could stage one-act plays? How about bigger than that? What if we were able to build a brand-new state-of-the-art community theatre in Wichita with seating for 500? Anything is possible with your generous gifts. We accept donations of time, money, props, costumes, set pieces, advertisement-exchange, construction materials, professional services such as law, plumbing, electrical work, general contracting, and even buildings and land, if you so choose. Additionally, we sell advertising space in our programs for $100/full page, $50/half page, and $25/quarter page. You can even buy an ad for someone’s birthday or anniversary! You can donate via mail, in person at the box office, or online via our new donation page, provided by Causes. All donations are tax-deductible.
